Development Of The Internet Shops In Ukraine
The Internet commerce sphere develops not so quickly as other segments of the domestic Internet market and has more modest investments as Internet shops yet have not received a mass recognition from the Ukrainian buyers. Today the goods which are not demanding contact to the buyer well are on sale: books, cartridges, mobile communication cards, computers and accessories. And in general, having entered almost any inquiry in searchers, for example you can always find the Internet necessary to you shop. The market of tourist services, the market of sales and rent of habitation, sales of cars, jewelry, the rare goods is promising. Also, according to company TNS Interactive information, only 4 % of inhabitants of Ukraine have access to a network the Internet and only 1 % of users are simultaneously Internet buyers.
Very perspective in Ukraine there is such form of the organisation information and trading interactions between the companies through the Internet, as electronic commerce “business business”. In the conditions of deepening of the international division of labour, active development of joint commerce when the enterprises not only buy each other production, but also in common work over manufacture of the new goods and services, electronic commerce of such direction takes on special significance, as it provides formation of long partner relations between the enterprises which are carried out through communication networks.
In Ukraine corporate portals in which limits the corporate information is systematised are already created and access to it is given to the certificated users. An example is corporate systems of companies “Quasars-micro” and Softline. For Ukraine creation of the electronic markets, control systems of a chain of a complete set, control systems of mutual relations with clients is perspective also.
The important step to a direction of introduction of any systems “business business” is use of open international standards. In Ukraine already there are specifications on application of these technologies – the national electronic catalogue of the goods is created.
Certainly, development of the international electronic trade in Ukraine influence also universal tendencies.
First, last years in connection with reduction of prices on computer systems and the software the boom in the field of sales of computers is observed.
The second tendency consists in growth of number of users by the Internet. By 2020 about more 1 milliards people will start to leave in online and it will be created more than 100 000 000 sites. The Ukrainian segment of the Internet represents now more than 12 000 sites and also monthly growth of visitors on 15 % is expected.
The third tendency is a growth of the on-line purchases which volume has increased with 8 milliards dollars in 1999 to more than 100 000 000 000 in 2003.
The fourth direction is connected with sharp growth of quantity of the house companies. Quantity of the people, working houses has jumped up from 4 million in 1990 to almost 16 million in 2000.
Thus, for active inclusion of Ukraine in the international electronic business the necessary:
– Active introduction of the base equipment, computers and telecommunications, including in a countryside that will provide expansion of computer literacy of the population and an appropriate level of development of an infrastructure;
– Stimulation of fast development of an infrastructure of a network: development of Internet shops, network business structures, operators of a network and creation some large domestic Internet-portals;
– Training to professional and general skills of work on the Internet at all levels of educational system including state employees;
– Development of the internal consumer market, increase of purchasing capacity by achievement of stable economic growth.
